Pedro Castro Piñeiroa
Pedro Castro Piñeiroa, native of La Coruña and resident in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Spain. His training is as a Diploma in Concept Art and Digital Illustration, (Master D School of Video Games and Digital Art) and as a Senior Technician in Interior Design and Construction Management, (Fernando Estévez School of Art in Santa Cruz de Tenerife) . His work experience is as follows: he worked in various companies related to advertising, mainly in the artistic part, painting billboards by hand, eventually having his own artistic signage company. He worked as an interior designer for the RIU hotel chain and as a freelancer in his own interior design company. Throughout his life I have developed drawing and painting in a self-taught manner but not as a professional. Although over the years he has liked to experiment with different painting techniques, carrying out various commissions and sales of works in the private sphere, it is now that he decides to devote himself to this desired task entirely. Without trying to find it, his style has been developing by itself within pure realism, but without resisting sometimes experimenting in other creative areas of painting. When he undertakes a painting he is concerned with both light and shapes, he paints what the spirit asks of him, a feeling, a sensation, an idea, trying to capture an emotion, a specific moment experienced, relying mainly on photography to create a composition of its own and thus reflect that spiritual state that it tries to transmit.
