Ariam Lazaro Perez Barrios
Born in Havana Cuba. Since 2002 he has lived in the municipality of Arona. He trained as a painter at the San Alejandro Cuba Academy of Fine Arts, and later graduated from the Fernando Estévez Art School, Santa Cruz Tenerife, specializing in illustration. He has worked in various fields of art, such as thematic art, comic artist, illustrator, sculptor, and muralist, and has obtained various awards for his plastic work in various competitions, regularly participating in group and personal exhibitions. His work always seeks strength and contrast, exploring various techniques and formats. The figure and the portrait are obsessions in the artist’s work, but he also ventures into themes such as still life and even landscape. He is an artist with a marked figurative tendency but seeks his own language.
